Christine Powell, M.Ed. BCaBA

Program Supervisor & Feeding Therapist

Christine has been working with children with ASD and related challenges and their families since 2003.  She received her master’s degree in Special Education (concentration in autism and related disabilities) at UBC and her Advanced Citation in Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis at Douglas College.

As a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) Christine has had the opportunity to implement and design a variety of behaviour based programs in a variety of diverse environments.

For the past eight years under the supervision of Dr. Binnendyk, Christine has primarily focused on supporting families of children with developmental disabilities and severe food refusal behaviours.

In her role as a feeding therapist, Christine has had tremendous success in expanding children’s diets, self feeding and teaching children to chew foods of higher textures.
