Heather Wilson, M.Ed. BCBA

Behaviour Consultant & Feeding Therapist

Heather received her master’s degree in Special Education (concentration in autism and related disabilities) at UBC. She is also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. Heather has been working with individuals with ASD/related challenges and their families since 2003. She has extensive experience implementing behaviour intervention programs at home, in the school, and community settings.

For the past six years, under the supervision of Dr. Binnendyk, Heather has specialized her practice to assisting others with problem behaviours and severe feeding issues.

As a Behaviour Consultant, she understands the challenges families face and is highly skilled with replacing problem behaviours with more functional adaptive skills.

In her role as a Feeding Therapist, Heather has had tremendous success in expanding children’s diets, self-feeding, and teaching children to chew foods of higher textures.
