we’re transforming family mealtimes, one bite at a time.

one size doesn’t fit all.

We understand that feeding disorders extend far beyond food itself. These challenges can dampen the joy of mealtimes, strain parent-child relationships, and impact a child's overall development. We form a collaborative partnership with parents, empowering them with knowledge and strategies uniquely suited to their family. And most importantly, the child develops an internal connection with their own body's signals, building confidence and positive associations with food.

Our approach is patient and compassionate, respecting each family's journey. Through these connections, we cultivate positive change—not just in eating habits, but in the overall well-being of the child and the family as a whole. You can see more information about our offerings below.

In Person Therapy

We work with children that suffer from feeding disorders, or struggle with mealtimes. These can range in severity, and often this refers to a child’s inability or refusal to eat and/or drink sufficient quantities or types of food to provide appropriate nutrition for their age. Over time, if left untreated, this may compromise a child’s physical development.

At One Bite at a Time, our Specialists work with you through an individualized step by step program, that gives your child structure and direction to help with their specific feeding needs. Our goal is to teach your child how to have a happy and healthy relationship with food.

Online Course

For the past 15 years, we have dedicated our time and effort to developing an intensive in person model of service for families of children with severe feeding difficulties. Despite our successes, we recognize that this level of support is not accessible to everyone that needs help. For some families, cost or access to in person treatment prohibits them from getting help. And for others, the challenges they face with their child’s eating, although concerning, do not warrant the need for intensive therapy. Because of this, we created our online learning course to help those families who either don’t need or can’t afford intensive therapy.
